Everyone is racist. Plain and simple. Racism is a survival mechanism.
You say that racism is wrong. Your supposed to love, not hate. You'll go to hell if you're a racist. Well if that's all true, then there's a reservation for you also. Maybe we can share a fiery pit together.
I even heard some people with the crazy notion of deporting all racist. But deport us where to beats the hell out of me. Besides, you might as well buy a ticket as well.
And you know, what, I'm proud to be racist. It's my right to be racist. If it wasn't for racism, we would not be white today.
I am a racist because I believe in 1) the Biblical concept of kind-after-kind and 2) the Constitution, which gives me the right to freely associate with anyone of my choosing.
I am an anthropological racist. I believe that there are in fact physical, mental, biological, cultural, and spiritual differences in the races of mankind. It is those differences that set us apart from one another. Some races do better in some areas more than other races. Asians excel in school, blacks dominate sports, and whites explore the ends of the earth and establish civilizations. Though to simply say that all races are equal, is just like saying that an eagle is equal to a sparrow, or a wolf is equal to chihuahua.
After years of propaganda drilled into their heads, the modern day white person has the same mentality as that of a tamed lion at the zoo. Even though the lion is still a lion, it acts more like a domesticated house cat. Even if they are still white in body, they have the mind of a mongrel.
The white man of today has become an sissified wimp. In the end, he will sit back and let other races trample over him and the land that once was his. He will watch as strangers steal his women away and suck the life out of his country. And when the time comes, he will be herded off like cattle, wondering to himself how it all came down to this.
As I said in part 1. All life is in a social Darwinistic struggle with each other. It is only natural for others to pair up with others who are like them, especially race. The reason why there are racial problems is because when you put different differing groups together and integrate them, there will always be chaos. We do not see eye to eye on many things. We don't share the same value systems.The only way to stop these problems is to seperate the races and give them their own territories to live in so that they can be able to advance at a level that keeps up with their own pace.Race is family.
We are all just one big ethnic tribe when it comes down to it. Racism can never be stopped, no matter how much time, effort, and money is put into stopping it. In the end, tribal loyalty will always reign supreme.
That which benefits the white race should be held with high vindication; that which harms the white race should be treated as anathema.

Obama: al-Qaida and Taliban Must Be Stopped
WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama on Friday ordered 4,000 more military troops into Afghanistan, vowing to "disrupt, dismantle and defeat" the terrorist al-Qaida network in Afghanistan and neighboring Pakistan.
In a war that still has no end in sight, Obama said the fresh infusion of U.S. forces is designed to bolster the Afghan army and turn up the heat on terrorists that he said are plotting new attacks against Americans. The plan takes aim at terrorist havens in Pakistan and challenges the government there and in Afghanistan to show more results.
Obama called the situation in the region "increasingly perilous" more than seven years after the Taliban was removed from power in Afghanistan.
"If the Afghanistan government falls to the Taliban or allows al-Qaida to go unchallenged," Obama said, "that country will again be a base for terrorists."
He announced the troop deployment, as well as plans to send hundreds of additional civilians to Afghanistan, with Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Defense Secretary Robert Gates and top intelligence and national security figures at his side. The announcement followed a policy review Obama launched not long after taking the oath of office.
The 4,000 troops come not long after the new administration approved the dispatch of an additional 17,000 forces to the war-weary nation.
There are clear risks and costs to Obama's strategy.
Violence is rising. The war in Afghanistan saw American military deaths rise by 35 percent in 2008 as Islamic extremists shifted their focus to a new front with the West. Obama's plan will also cost many more billions of dollars.
And the president's plan includes no timeline for withdrawal of U.S. troops.
Yet Obama bluntly warned that the al-Qaida terrorists who masterminded the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks were actively planning further attacks on the United States from safe havens in Pakistan. And he said the Afghanistan government is in peril of falling to the Islamic militants of the Taliban once again.
"So I want the American people to understand that we have a clear and focused goal: to disrupt, dismantle, and defeat al-Qaida in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and to prevent their return to either country in the future," the president said.
"That is the goal that must be achieved," Obama added. "That is a cause that could not be more just. And to the terrorists who oppose us, my message is the same: we will defeat you."
Obama's plan will put more U.S. troops and money on the line. He said Pakistan and Afghanistan will be held to account, using benchmarks for progress.
The president spoke just hours after a suicide bomber in Pakistan demolished a mosque packed with hundreds of worshippers attending Friday prayers near the Afghan border, killing at least 48 people and injuring scores more, in the bloodiest attack in Pakistan this year. Rising violence in Pakistan is fueling doubts about the pro-Western government's ability to counter Taliban and al-Qaida militants also blamed for attacks on Western troops in Afghanistan.
Obama called the mountainous border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan "the most dangerous place in the world."
"This is not simply an American problem — far from it," Obama said. "It is, instead, an international security challenge of the highest order. Terrorist attacks in London and Bali were tied to al-Qaida and its allies in Pakistan, as were attacks in North Africa and the Middle East, in Islamabad and Kabul. If there is a major attack on an Asian, European, or African city, it, too, is likely to have ties to al-Qaida's leadership in Pakistan."
The president added: "The safety of people around the world is at stake."
The strategy fits with Obama's operating premise — that the U.S. failed mightily in the years following the Sept. 11 terror attacks by focusing on Iraq instead of Afghanistan. He send he is sending in the 4,000 military trainers after military commanders watched their demand for such help go unmet for years.
His moves comes ahead of a U.N. conference on Afghanistan next Tuesday in The Hague, where Clinton will join representatives from more than 80 countries. And Obama himself is attending a NATO meeting next week in France and Germany.
At that meeting, the U.S. expects some NATO coalition members to commit more forces to the flagging war in Afghanistan, Obama officials said Thursday. They did not get specific.
Roughly 65,000 international forces are in Afghanistan, more than half from the U.S.
One part of Obama's plan is to expose fractures in the Taliban in hopes of weakening it.
Administration officials say the most difficult part of their approach will be in dealing with Pakistan, an often chaotic place with an erratic relationship with the United States. The administration will seek to bolster the democratic government of Pakistan, and try to get the people of that country to see the U.S.-led effort as one that is in their interests.
Obama also will call for increasing aid to Pakistan as long as its leaders confront militants in the border region. The president will work with Congress on language to attach conditions to military aid, sources said.
The U.S. will launch an intensive and expanded diplomatic effort to gain international cooperation, including reaching out to Russia, China, India, Saudi Arabia and even Iran.
The 4,000 military trainers that Obama is sending to Afghanistan will come from 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. All of the troops he is dispatching to Afghanistan, including the combat troops, will be there by fall.
Obama's plan does not send in more combat troops, for now. Military commanders say they think more such forces will be needed.

A Response To Criticism

Whenever any of us or any other white dares speak out against multiculturalism, we get shouted down and are name-called simply because we are standing up for a cause that that is worth fighting for. We've heard it all and probably been called it all. But now, it is time to respond back to these charges.
Racist- Being a racist merely means being proud of one's race and wanting to perserve it at all costs. We believe that race does in fact exists and there are certain traits that do set us apart from others, so why is that so bad?
White supremacist- As I mentioned before in part 1 of Defending Ethnocentrism, all races and ethnic tribes have a feeling of superiority over others. Thats what causes them to have compete with other groups. If they feel that another group threatens their way of life, there will be confrontations.
neo-Nazi- The most common mistakes that our enemies make is that they lump us all up into categories and say that we believe this way and that way and so forth. They don't even take the time to read our material or check out our websites to see what we really believe. But in truth, there are different pro-white groups just as there are different Masonic Lodges. We cannot speak for all white nationalist because we may disagree on some things.
Some white nationalist are national socialist and some aren't. It all depends on the individual and the group, so its unfair to simply call someone a Nazi when it fact they aren't.
Fascist- Fascism is the belief in corporate statism, we're as we believe in free enterprise (which is not capitalism by the way). We are against any form of corporatism or statism, nor do we want a dictatorship of any kind. While fascism was strongly nationalistic, it was not racist. Personally, Benito Mussolini was an idiot for not kicking the Jews out of Italy to begin with.
Anti-Semite- Nobody likes the Jews. For centuries, the Jews have had this idea that they are more pure than other races and ethnic groups, and that allows them to dominate Gentiles. It has been that type of superiority complex, as well as other , that has had them kicked out of a total of 78 countries (sometimes being booted out of some countries more than once.
The Jews trace their ancestry back to the Isrealites of old, but in all truth, they are all hybrids of all races and ethnic stocks (most of whom are descendants of the Mongol-Turkish people, the Khazar living in souther Russia in the 8th and 9th century and adopted Judaism as their religion). So it's highly doubtful that any of them do in fact have Shemite blood. And then you have white Jews, black Jews, Hispanic Jews, Asian Jews, Arab Jews, and so on.
Hatemonger- I like to think of ourselves as lovemongers because we believe in loving our own and doing what is in the best interest of our folk.
Bigot- A bigot is some one who is intolerant of others or takes offense to the opinions of other people. But who really is intolerant? We don't get to have any say when it's our turns to talk and when we do talk, we are rudely interrupted and criticized by those who claim that they are so "tolerant." Looks to me that they are the real bigots. Not so tolerant after all it seems.
All liberals are hypocrates, because if they really practiced what they preached, they would move to an all-black or all-Hispanic neighborhood, though I highly doubt any of them would make the night. Despite preaching tolerance, these same white liberals practically live in lily-white neighborhoods.
Holocaust denier- This one always makes me laugh whenever I hear it because it is just downright ignorant and ridiculous. A holocaust denier would be someone who believes that there were no jews killed during World War 2, whether it be in concentration camps or anywhere else. We know that this is not the truth. Yes, there were Jews who were killed in the camps and I'm sure some were shot or hanged from time to time, but as far as gas camps and being burned alive in ovens and made into soap and curtain, that's grossly far-fetched. I have yet to see any such evidence that something like this happened. To be quite frank, there sure did seem to be a lot of jews alive more than dead after the war.
The majority of Jews who did die, died of natural causes, starvation, or diseases, rather than anything else, since lice and typhus was prevalent in the camps and food supplies were getting low. Overall, jews were treated fairly, even getting paid for the work that they did and had schools for the Jewish children living there. Oh, what horrible monsters these Nazis were!
Even if six million Jews did die, why does it matter? A total of 50 to 70 million casualties, both soldeirs and civilians died from the outcome of WW2. Why are these six million dead Jews more important than the rest? WW2 was mostly a white-on-white war in which million of racial kindred died over a false lie that Hitler and the Nazis were going to take over the war. A war fought for the Jews, by the Jews because the Nazis took their power away from them and gave it back to the German people, to whom it rightfully belonged to.
If six million really died, then why are men such as Ernst Zundel, Germar Rudolf, Gerard Frederick Toben, and other being thrown in prison for daring to question the 6 million lie? What are they trying to hide so much that they have to lock people up just for having a different position on something?
So the next time somebody calls you one of these names, don't be bothered by it at all. They're the ignoract ones, not you.

Defending Ethnocentrism Part 1

Ethnocentrism as we well know is defined as 1. the belief that one's own race or ethnic group is superior to others and 2. the overriding concern with race (one's own race to be more exact). This perspective is usually met with scorn by most people in this age of tolerance and multiculturalism. But is it really a bad thing? Absolutley not!
Mankind is divided up into 3 racial categories. 1) Caucasoid, 2) Negroid, and 3) Mongoloid or Turanian and then there are several different subraces (such as Native Indians) and hybrid groups such as Jews, Gypsies (mixed with white and Indians), Australoids (who appear to be part Negroid due to the kinky hair), Indians (from India, modern day Hindus who are a sad remnant of "wheat-colored" Aryans and dark-skinned Dravidians), Hispanics (whites, Indians, and negros), and Arabs.
In fact, all life is in a social Darwinistic competition with one another, whether it be race, gender, economics, ideologies. It's always been that way and it always will. It's is only natural for others who share common traits, ideas, culture, and heritage to defend one another against those who are different. For us, we choose race because we believe that race is natural and it is the primary determinant over everything else. Without race, there is nothing, so there's no pretending that race and other factors don't go into the same category.
Do we feel that the white race is surperior to others? Yes! But so do other races and ethnic groups. Especially the Jews, who feel that as the "Chosen People" that it gives them the right to control non-Jews physically and emotionally whenever the opportunity presents itself. Each race and ethnic group has love for their own. At the end of the day, most prefer to be with others who are like them. It makes them feel more safe and secure.
If all races and nations were really equal, then why do non-white immigrants and refugees have to migrate to white countires? If they really wanted to prove their equality, they would stay in their own homelands and fix them to the best of their ability.
Its a love-hate thing. We love our own and hate those who would destroy our race. Our love for our own and hatred for others is no different than a mother's love for her child and hatred for anyone who would harm her young.
It is sad that the entire field of anthropology as well as other social sciences have been corrupted by egalitarian thinking thanks to Jews like Frank Boaz, Gene Weltfish, Ashley Montagu (whose real name was Israel Ehrenberg and the author of the popular egalitarian-universalist book Man's Most Dangerous Myth: The Fallacy of Race), and a whole list of other jewish race denial propagandists.
Despite being the master manipulators in race-denial, these same Jews would have a fit if their children married a non-Jew, being that they promote race-mixing between whites and nonwhites, but never amongst their own, (unless of course they're communist Jews).
The term melting pot was coined by a Jews named Israel Zangwill, who created a 1908 play by the same name. He envisioned a world where all ethnic and religious differences would be done away with, but was also a Zionist, supporting at one time Theodor Herzl, a Austro-Hungarian journalist who is today known as the father of modern political Zionism. Zangwill would later found his own organization called the Jewish Territorialist Organization in 1903 whose goal was to establish as Jewish homeland wherever they could find one. Such hypocrisy indeed.
While each race and ethnicity has their own unique way of life, that does not mean we want them to mingle and mix with us. So to any nonwhite who has a problem with me because I simply don't want to be their next door neighbor or date their daughter, tough! It's nothing personal, but I believe in the old Agrarian saying that birds of a feather should flock together.

Its a love-hate thing. We love our own and hate those who would destroy our race. Our love for our own and hatred for others is no different than a mother's love for her child and hatred for anyone who would harm her young.
It is sad that the entire field of anthropology as well as other social sciences have been corrupted by egalitarian thinking thanks to Jews like Frank Boaz, Gene Weltfish, Ashley Montagu (whose real name was Israel Ehrenberg and the author of the popular egalitarian-universalist book Man's Most Dangerous Myth: The Fallacy of Race), and a whole list of other jewish race denial propagandists.
Despite being the master manipulators in race-denial, these same Jews would have a fit if their children married a non-Jew, being that they promote race-mixing between whites and nonwhites, but never amongst their own, (unless of course they're communist Jews).
The term melting pot was coined by a Jews named Israel Zangwill, who created a 1908 play by the same name. He envisioned a world where all ethnic and religious differences would be done away with, but was also a Zionist, supporting at one time Theodor Herzl, a Austro-Hungarian journalist who is today known as the father of modern political Zionism. Zangwill would later found his own organization called the Jewish Territorialist Organization in 1903 whose goal was to establish as Jewish homeland wherever they could find one. Such hypocrisy indeed.
While each race and ethnicity has their own unique way of life, that does not mean we want them to mingle and mix with us. So to any nonwhite who has a problem with me because I simply don't want to be their next door neighbor or date their daughter, tough! It's nothing personal, but I believe in the old Agrarian saying that birds of a feather should flock together.
As much as they try to prove that there really are no racial differences, the evidence will always present itself in the end. Race has and will always exist, and no matter how many times people want to deny that it doesn't, they're only living in a mental bubble of self-denial. It is the very reason why we are white today because our parents practiced racial seperation and segregation.

Klansman's Home Shot Up
Early-morning drive-by causes property damage

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Early Wednesday morning an Amarillo man says someone drove by his house and unloaded at least nine 9-millimeter bullets.
They hit his cars and his porch and he believes he was intentionally targeted.
William Teague is a member of the Ku Klux Klan.
He flies a Klan flag in his front yard alongside the Confederate flag.
But, he says, he has never threatened anyone and does not deserve this violence.
"They may think it's a threat, you know. I'm sorry they feel that way. To me, it's not a threat. It's just taking pride in my heritage, my race. A lot of people don't do that anymore, you know? I'm trying to be one of the few, the proud," said Teague.
He says the Klan is misunderstood.
"{The KKK} is not about hating somebody, you know," said Teague. "Some people probably think it is. But we just try to live and let live and try to preserve our heritage and people get upset about it."
Teague feels he has a right to display his flags and he will not take them down.
"I understand they may be upset but so what? I get upset too but I don't go shooting people or shooting at them you know," said Teague.
Amarillo Police do not know yet if Teague was targeted. If he was, the incident could be considered a hate crime.
Police say they want to make Amarillo a place where people can display their beliefs without fear of retaliation.

Set in a fictional African country, the latest in the critically-acclaimed Resident Evil series is sparking racial controversy over its choice of enemies.
Famed for their zombie-packed gameplay, the Resident Evil games form one of gaming's longest-running horror stories. But recent episodes have adopted more modern premises, and the fifth title eschews the undead altogether, leaving the apple-pie hero to gun down armies of what the Wall Street Journal calls "poor and shirtless" African villagers. It's not surprising that it's aroused some interest.
Ex-Newsweek editor N'Gai Croal: "No one black worked on this game."
One of those shocked by the game's content was respected industry commentator N'Gai Croal, who described his reaction to Resident Evil 5 as "Wow, clearly no one black worked on this game." It's not an unreasonable assumption: as the WSJ observes, the video games industry is dominated by white and Asian males. In games, black protagonists are a comparatively rare sight.
Resident Evil's designer, Jun Takeuchi, told MTV in an interview that he was suprised at the reaction many observers had to the game, and commented that racial issues in his native Japan are different from those in Western countries. (Incidentally, he also confirmed that several of Resident Evil 5's development team are black.)
The game doesn't confront the race issue head-on: the protagonist, Chris Redfield, has a female sidekick who's from the region (although she's light-skinned), and the WSJ notes the game is careful to identify why his opponents are so violent. "The game suggests that the barbarism depicted in the game is a result of your enemies' zombieness, not their African identity. In short, Africans don't beat you to death with their hands -- zombies do," it says. But there's still little Chris can do about it except shoot them.

Is it racist? Taken purely in isolation, the sight of a white male gunning down hordes of semi-mindless African opponents has provoked many reactions. But although only a few reviews have sneaked out so far, they largely brush off the racism allegations: it's currently scoring 87% at review aggregation site metacritic.com. Even the BBFC, the group responsible for issuing age certifications in Britain, publicly declared the race controversy a non-issue.
Other commentators have been less charitable. One preview on Eurogamer.net slammed the game as playing "so blatantly into the old cliches of the dangerous dark continent and the primitive lust of its inhabitants that you'd swear the game was written in the 1920s".
But most video game critics seem to have ignored the race controversy. "For my money, fun is fun, and RE5 has near infinite ammo in that department," said IGN in this review, which goes on to award it a top score. In fact, it's turning in top scores almost across the board.

Mexican Soldiers Arrested For Drug Trafficking
MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – A dozen Mexican soldiers were arrested on suspicion of working with the violent Gulf Cartel, the Mexican army said on Thursday, a blow to President Felipe Calderon's military-backed campaign against drug gangs.
The troops are accused of collaborating with four municipal policemen in the central state of Aguascalientes who provided protection for Gulf cartel capos, the army said in a statement.
The arrests come as Calderon sent thousands more troops to the violent border city of Ciudad Juarez in an attempt to curb spiraling drug violence that killed more than 6,000 people last year.
Calderon deployed the army to fight organized crime since taking office in 2006 partly because soldiers have traditionally been seen as less corrupt than police.
But several recent high-profile arrests -- including a presidential guardsmen who allegedly received $100,000 a month to track Calderon for drug traffickers -- reveal infiltration in the highest levels of Mexico's security forces.
The Gulf cartel is fighting a turf war for control of smuggling routes with its main rival the Sinaloa federation, led by Mexico's most wanted man Joaquin "Shorty" Guzman.
The Gulf cartel's feared hitmen known as the Zetas, infamous for torturing and beheading their enemies, were founded by a group of military deserters.

Guinea-Bissau President Assasinated By Soldiers
BISSAU, Guinea-Bissau – Soldiers assassinated the president of Guinea-Bissau in his palace Monday hours after a bomb blast killed his rival, but the military insisted no coup was taking place in the West African nation.
A military statement broadcast on state radio attributed President Joao Bernardo "Nino" Vieira's death to an "isolated" group of unidentified soldiers whom the armed forces said they were now hunting down.
The capital, Bissau, was calm but tense despite the pre-dawn gunfight at the palace, which erupted hours after armed forces chief of staff Gen. Batiste Tagme na Waie — a longtime rival of the president — was killed by a bomb blast at his headquarters.
The former Portuguese colony has suffered multiple coups and attempted coups since 1980, when Vieira himself first took power in one. The United Nations says the impoverished nation on the Atlantic coast of Africa has recently become a key transit point for cocaine smuggled from Latin America to Europe.
Following an emergency Cabinet meeting on Monday, military spokesman Zamora Induta said top military brass told government officials "this was not a coup d'etat."
"We reaffirmed our intention to respect the democratically elected power and the constitution of the republic," Induta said. "The people who killed President Vieira have not been arrested, but we are pursuing them. They are an isolated group. The situation is under control."
The constitution calls for parliament chief Raimundo Pereira to succeed the president in the event of his death.
Prime Minister Carlos Gomes Jr. said the fact that the military did not go through with a coup deserves praise. "The military showed their patriotism by not seizing power," he said, adding that both Vieira and Waie will receive state funerals in the coming days.
Vieira had ruled Guinea-Bissau for 23 of the past 29 years. He came to power in the 1980 coup, but was forced out 19 years later at the onset of the country's civil war. He later returned from exile in Portugal to run in the country's 2005 election and won the vote.

Among them was Waie, who in the late 1980s was dropped off on a deserted island off the coast of Guinea-Bissau, according to Waie's chief of staff, Lt. Col. Bwam Namtcho. Waie was left there for years before he was allowed to return and officially pardoned by Vieira.
Namtcho said the bomb that killed Waie had been hidden underneath the staircase leading to his office.
Hours later, volleys of automatic gunfire rang out for at least two hours before dawn in Bissau and residents said soldiers had converged on Vieira's palace.
The Portuguese news agency LUSA reported that troops attacked the palace with rockets and rifles. The president's press chief, Barnabe Gomes, escaped but was struck by a bullet in his right shoulder, LUSA said.
It was the second attack on Vieira in recent months. In November, Vieira's residence was attacked by soldiers with automatic weapons who killed at least one of his guards. The president complained later that the army never intervened, leaving his presidential guard to fight off the attackers.
In January, Waie received a call from the presidency asking him to come at once, said Namtcho. But when Waie stepped outside to get into his car, unidentified gunmen opened fire on the car. Waie narrowly escaped and Namtcho says he assumed the attack had been ordered by the president.
Luis Sanca, security adviser to Prime Minister Carlos Gomes Jr., confirmed that the president had died but gave no details.
The African Union condemned the killings, calling them "cowardly and heinous attacks which have come at a time of renewed efforts by the international community to support peace-building efforts in Guinea-Bissau."
In Lisbon, the Portuguese Foreign Ministry lamented Vieira's death and said it was "fundamental that all political and military authorities in the country respect the constitutional order."
Portugal said it would call an emergency meeting of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries, an eight-member organization based in Lisbon.

The capital, Bissau, was calm but tense despite the pre-dawn gunfight at the palace, which erupted hours after armed forces chief of staff Gen. Batiste Tagme na Waie — a longtime rival of the president — was killed by a bomb blast at his headquarters.

The United Nations says the impoverished nation on the Atlantic coast of Africa has recently become a key transit point for cocaine smuggled from Latin America to Europe.
Following an emergency Cabinet meeting on Monday, military spokesman Zamora Induta said top military brass told government officials "this was not a coup d'etat."
"We reaffirmed our intention to respect the democratically elected power and the constitution of the republic," Induta said. "The people who killed President Vieira have not been arrested, but we are pursuing them. They are an isolated group. The situation is under control."
The constitution calls for parliament chief Raimundo Pereira to succeed the president in the event of his death.
Prime Minister Carlos Gomes Jr. said the fact that the military did not go through with a coup deserves praise. "The military showed their patriotism by not seizing power," he said, adding that both Vieira and Waie will receive state funerals in the coming days.
Vieira had ruled Guinea-Bissau for 23 of the past 29 years. He came to power in the 1980 coup, but was forced out 19 years later at the onset of the country's civil war. He later returned from exile in Portugal to run in the country's 2005 election and won the vote.
